This role initially involved a detailed operational review as the business was in a difficult situation with excessive inventory, incomplete accounting, problematic internal processes and a disenfranchised dealer network. Once this review was complete and all problems clearly identified, the role was then responsible for rebuilding sales, accurate financial management, inventory control, and warranty cost management, meeting legislative requirements, team development and board liaison. The role reported to a Board consisting of shareholders and independent directors.
